The Farmhouse Great Room

We are avid fans of Chip and Joanna Gaines and their TV Show Fixer Upper. When we were designing our Great Room, we constantly asked ourselves, “If Joanna Gaines designed a wedding venue, what would she do?” Here’s what we came up with. White shiplap everywhere. An open floor plan with no posts to work around (which required 65 foot long custom beams to carry the new ceiling). Big windows to let in lots of natural light. Rusty barn metal on the ceilings and the original factory floor all polished up give the room texture. Stunning light fixtures add elegance to the space. Rectangular tables keep the farmhouse feel. Chiavari chairs add a refined feel. Air conditioning to keep your guests comfortable no matter what the weather does. Whether your wedding reception has 50 guests or 150 guests, they will all love the view of the mountains from our farmhouse. If the weather doesn’t permit an outside wedding ceremony, you can still have a gorgeous ceremony right in the Great Room.
